India education
India has a host of world famous universities and colleges that offer high quality education. It has more than 237 universities and 10600 colleges that employ more than 3.31 lakh teachers. The system is monitored by University Grants Commission (UGC) which coordinates, maintains standard and gives grants to universities and colleges. India education is comparatively much cheaper and is of high qualtiy as compared to any other country.
Academic Structure
There are three levels of qualifications being adopted in the higher education system of India that include bachelor / undergraduate level, master's / post-graduate level, doctoral / pre-doctoral level. In addition diploma courses are also available at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
