NYC board of education
The New York City board of education more commonly known as the NYC board of education is a regulatory board that supervises more than 1200 schools in and around NewYork city. These schools have been distributed into ten different regions and can be located on their official website. The schools supervised by the NYB board of education are at all levels that include elementary schools, middle level schools and higher secondary schools among others.
The regions in NYC have been divided and each region has been provided with a learning support center that has the instructional leadership team. Six Learning Support Centers have regional operations centers that have the function of providing operational support to schools.
