Outsourcing as a phenomenon is not new and has been going on since ages. The only difference can be seen in the sheer pace in which things are happening at present that has given rise to a speculative kind of an atmosphere in developed countries like US and the United Kingdom. Although many economists have assured of benefit outsourcing turning into a win-win situation for all countries; the cynical attitudes of people towards this trend still continues. People in developed countries are looking at the whole situation in a short term basis and hence are unable to foresee the benefit outsourcing can bring to their economies in terms of better customer service, innovative products and cheaper goods/services.
