Outsourcing in India

Bush outsourcing Views and its Impacts

President Bush and his Republican party have shown strong support for outscoring of services to off-shore destinations. According to President Bush outsourcing
will give rise to a win-win situation and in the long run is sure to develop the US economy by increasing revenues and bringing newer and better paying jobs.

According to a report in the New York Times the Bush Commerce Department is said to have co-sponsored a conference held in New York that was designed to encourage companies in America to outsource jobs to offshore destinations. A top economic advisor to the US president has also been said to have quoted outsourcing as a plus for the economy.

But citizens especially the technology workers in the US who had to put up with their jobs as a result of outsourcing are not the least happy and this has been reflected in the increased backlash in the US against Bush outsourcing. Something that President Bush surely has to reconsider.

Bush VS Kerry viewpoints

Senator Kerry on the other hand has been opposing outsourcing ever since he started his election campaign. But many are of the opinion that this is just a means of attracting public attention and getting people to his side. The United States outsourcing statistics show that most companies in the US are planning to outsource as a means of cutting costs and staying ahead of the competition. The offshore software development outsourcing industry has also grown double fold over the years. This situation, many believe will force Kerry to change his views on a latter phase. Though outsourcing polls and statistics today show a major support for Kerry, specifically among the younger generation of people who are actually feeling the outsourcing heat. Unemployment and offshoring have almost become synonymous among this youth who look determined to support Kerry in his anti-outsourcing campaign. But for how long will Kerry stick towards his fight against outsourcing is something to look out for.
